Secondary Mathematics Teacher

The Schechter School of Long Island is searching for a full-time teacher in Secondary Mathematics to begin immediately at our campus in Williston Park. A qualified candidate should be prepared to teach courses in middle and high school math and be familiar with the New York State Next-Generation learning standards for each course where such standards are available.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Classroom teaching experience or a degree from an accredited teacher-preparation program
• As we are a private school, state certification is preferred, but not required.
