Judaics Teacher

JCDS is looking for a Judaics teacher to fill a variety of roles, depending on the background the person brings with them. In addition to teaching elementary Jewish Studies and helping with holiday observance, duties could include leading Tefilah and teaching Hebrew. JCDS is a pluralistic, egalitarian day school. The exact definition of the role will depend on the candidate’s experience, but should include:

• Teach elementary grade Jewish Studies
• Lead morning tefillah 
• Lead Kabbalat Shabbat
• Ensure adherence to JCDS Kashrut Policies
• Serve as a resource for students, teachers, and families
• Ensure Jewish educational experiences are seamlessly integrated into the daily program for all children

Pay is commensurate with experience.
