Occasional Torah Reader

Congregation KTI, an egalitarian Conservative synagogue located in Port Chester, NY, seeks an occasional Torah reader for specific dates in 2026 and beyond. The reader must prepare the entire triennial Torah reading and the annual maftir (including any special maftir readings) and chant them from the Torah scroll with minimal errors.

We are seeking a Torah reader for any and all of the following Shabbat mornings in 2027: February 13, February 20 and March 20.

Compensation (as a contractor) is $250-$300 per day, commensurate with experience.
