  • Foster students’ understanding of Hebrew as a living language spoken in Israel and across the Jewish world
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including enrichment and support
  • Assess student progress through ongoing formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align Hebrew and Judaics curricula and support vertical and horizontal articulation
  • Serve as part of the team that creates and implements Jewish holiday and other school events.
  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment with clear expectations and routines
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with families regarding student progress and learning goals
  • Participate fully in school life, including faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
  • Establish annual professional goals aligned with school-wide priorities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to create a joyful, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Comfort integrating technology and digital platforms into instruction
  • Enthusiasm for sharing Israeli culture in age-appropriate and authentic ways
