ROLE OVERVIEW

Managing and growing a high-end kosher meat company and its hospitality counterpart, in conjunction with a local herd manager and staff team, along with distributed sales representatives.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Hiddr Meats is a kosher, regeneratively raised meat company based in Central Virginia, selling direct to consumers through bundles, direct orders, and a network of regional pickup points. Hiddr Hopetal is a hospitality venture built on the experience of the high quality meat at its pasture source, along with other farm / craft products and processes at the heart of the Blue Ridge ethos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hiddr Meats

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on growing the pickup point network and expanding the customer base.
  • Manage the regional sales team; cultivate community partners and institutional relationships to support pickup operations in each market.
  • Oversee customer-facing communications and marketing in collaboration with marketing support - ensuring consistent messaging across outreach and promotions.
  • Work alongside the herd manager to understand production capacity and project growth in alignment with sales goals.
  • Own pricing strategy; maintain a clear understanding of cost, margin, and competitive positioning.
  • Set goals, track performance, and provide regular reporting.

Hiddr Hopetal

  • Build and manage the Hopetal hospitality calendar, including curated retreats, reunion rentals, and guest-led programs.
  • Develop/build out and oversee retreat programming across multiple formats — curated Shabbos retreats, seasonal gatherings, reunion stays, and guest-led programs — including the development of add-on experiences guests can draw on during their stay.
  • Manage the hospitality coordinator and support staff; oversee booking systems, guest communication, and housekeeping coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retreat facilitators, event organizers, and guests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, instructors, and external facilitators.
  • Integrate Hiddr Meats and Refualary offerings into the guest experience - ensuring guests have access to the farm market, meat products, and apothecary during their stay.

  • Operations & Team Management
  • Establish and maintain accountability structures across a distributed team including documented goals, regular check-ins, and performance tracking
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners across the properties
  • Provide regular, professional reporting to the executive / ownership team, especially regarding goal-related decisions, developments, and operational issues.
  • Identify gaps in systems and processes and implement solutions
