Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to assist in collaborative marketing operations and email communication. The Marketing Specialist will support the day-to-day marketing projects as assigned. This will include multi-platform marketing initiatives within our Centennial Campaign and our Impact Department.

Our community is gearing up to celebrate 100 years, and you’ll be an integral part of our Centennial project planning and execution team, contributing to unique and exciting initiatives and events.

The Marketing Specialist will work independently on specific communications tasks within established procedures. Professional demeanor, dependability, confidentiality, self-motivation, and flexibility are attributes of this position.


  • Support team leaders' execution and project management of strategic marketing and communications efforts.
  • Act as a key liaison to develop the project plan, timing/key milestones, and integrated project management in a digital project management platform (Basecamp).
  • Prepare and execute email via MailChimp, from concept development and technical build to deployment and analysis as well as testing creativity, content, and copy.
  • Coordinate and manage the distribution of collateral materials, advertisements, brochures, newsletters, presentations, online marketing, swag, etc.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing strategists as it relates to segmentation.
  • Administrative tasks as needed to support project implementation.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Required: Strong MailChimp expertise; Microsoft Office including PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with constituent database functions/list creation.
  • Highly preferred: Adobe InDesign, Basecamp, WordPress, HTML.
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy of work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to take initiative and complete tasks through to completion.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a busy atmosphere.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and handle multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced, deadline environment.
  • Ability to interface with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience using Excel, Microsoft Office programs, WordPress, MailChimp, and other digital platforms.
