Social Media and Marketing Manager

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience)

The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to lead our digital presence and support subscriptions, events, and fundraising.

What You’ll Do

1. Own and execute a social media strategy across X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Substack.
2. Run a content calendar highlighting new issues, essays, archives, and events.
3. Write and schedule engaging posts and newsletters; create basic visuals (e.g., in Canva).
4. Track performance, report on key metrics, and refine tactics based on data.
5. Plan and support campaigns for subscriptions, events, and fundraising.
6. Help maintain and update website content and support donor/fundraising communications.
7. Promote events and coordinate cross-promotion with partners.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications.
  Proven success managing social channels for an organization, publication, or brand.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; strong sense of voice and tone.
• Familiarity with social media tools and analytics; experience with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Substack) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working remotely on a small team.
• Interest in Jewish ideas, culture, literature, or intellectual life.

Benefits

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 (full-time, part time salary to be negotiated commensurate with experience)

Part-time remote with flexible hours in U.S. time zones, possibility of full-time work in-office in Cleveland Heights
