Are you a passionate educator with a heart for Jewish tradition and a head for organized leadership? Since 2007, Gan Aviv Nursery School and Daycare has been a "home away from home" for families in our community. We are looking for an Assistant Director who is ready to help us lead our school into its next chapter of excellence.

In this role, you won't just be managing schedules—you’ll be cultivating a warm, inclusive environment where Jewish values and early childhood development go hand-in-hand.

Your Impact

As the Assistant Director, you will partner closely with our Owner/Director to ensure the smooth daily operation of our programs. Your mission will include:

• Mentoring Educators: Supporting our dedicated teaching staff with curriculum guidance and professional growth.
• Family Partnership: Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and acting as a welcoming face for new families.
• Operational Excellence: Assisting with licensing compliance, enrollment, and administrative logistics.
• Jewish Life: Helping integrate meaningful traditions, holidays, and Hebrew language exposure into our daily rhythms.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: A solid background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in ECE or a related field (meeting state licensing requirements).
• Spirit: A deep appreciation for Jewish values and the ability to share them with children and staff.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, a "no task too small" attitude, and proficiency in school management software.
• HEBREW is a plus!
