Camp Director

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organized Camp Director to lead our thriving Modern orthodox upstate day camp. While campers attend daily, many of our counselor staff lives on-site in dorms, creating a strong, supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily programming and camp-wide activities
• Plan and schedule trips, including logistics and safety management
• Manage camper registration and parent communication
• Serve as the primary administrator for CampMinder (registration, communication, and reporting)
• Recruit, hire, and train all counselor and specialist staff

-DOH applicant and SYEP paperwork

• Foster a positive, professional environment for residential staff

Qualifications
• 3+ years of leadership experience in camps, youth programs, or recreation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with CampMinder or similar software preferred
• Ability to reside on-site during the camp season
