Summary:

AIPAC seeks a Director of Multi-Generational Engagement/Principal Partnerships responsible for creating and implementing a program to identify, cultivate and engage the next generation of AIPAC investors and political advocates.

In partnership with the Senior Vice President, Transformational Wealth, the Director will focus on developing scalable structures and strategies to build a cohort of investors who are committed to advancing a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.

The Director will also be responsible for stewarding a portfolio of Institutional Foundations that fund the American Israel Education Fund (AIEF), the 501c3 education arm of AIPAC’s work. In this respect, the Director will lead and execute all grants management and reporting for AIEF’s Foundation Partners.

This position will report to the SVP and will serve as a partner to AIPAC’s fundraising professionals in the field and within the development team. The Director will work cross functionally across the organization to collaboratively achieve strategic priorities.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and lead a comprehensive strategy to identify and recruit a geographically balanced cohort of the next generation of $100K+ donors to AIPAC.
  • Create & validate meaningful engagement strategies for cohort and their peers.
  • Establish a group of leaders who can help us identify and develop this segment of our base.
  • Create a national program focused on political activism with an outcome of creating a series of political networks and/or giving circles.
  • Collaborate across teams to build and execute national opportunities such as the AIPAC Congressional Summit in Washington, DC.
  • Steward and engage a portfolio of 6 and 7 figure foundation partners. Execute grants management, including proposal writing and reporting.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as knowledge of issues related to Israel, the Middle East, and American politics
  • An understanding and appreciation for AIPAC’s bipartisan, single-issue approach
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field with a proven track record in fundraising focusing on soliciting and stewarding six- and seven-figure donors
  • Work efficiently under pressure; meet deadlines; demonstrate strategic thinking and good decision-making, as well as entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to build relationships within and outside of the organization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to utilize donor management systems/databases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in grant writing preferred

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $152,000.00 and $175,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
