Description

JCC Chicago is looking for lifeguards and swim instructors for our Apachi Day Camp at Weinger JCC in Northbrook, IL!

Our Lifeguards and Swim Instructors play a vital role in creating a safe, positive, and growth-oriented swim experience for all campers ages 4–12. Working in our outdoor pools twice a day with every group, they ensure camper safety while helping each child build confidence and develop swimming skills. Team members will supervise all aquatic activities, lead instructional swim lessons, encourage campers’ progress, and contribute to a fun, supportive environment. No prior lifeguard certification is required. We provide full lifeguard training and certification before the summer begins.

We’re the secret sauce of summer for over 3,500 children throughout the Chicago area. Every summer, the Apachi Day Camps – each with its own special blend of camp – become the place where kids learn to spread their wings, test the waters, push their envelope and find their bliss. JCC Chicago is an equal opportunity agency that offers career opportunities, internships, and volunteer roles for all.
