Manager of Career Services

Jewish Community Services is seeking a Manager of Career Services to join our dynamic Ignite Career Center team. This role is key to overseeing the daily operations, programming, and fiscal/grant management of our Career Services division—all while supervising a talented team of career coaches.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support the Career Services team, ensuring timely, high-quality services for all clients.

• Oversee and innovate career-related programs, workshops, and events aligned with current labor market trends.

• Monitor and report on grant deliverables, budgets, and timelines, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Directly support a small caseload of clients as needed, providing resume writing, coaching, and job search support.

• Collaborate across departments to align programming and enhance outcomes for individuals and families.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

• A strong understanding of career coaching, workforce trends, resume development, adult learning theory, and the role of technology—such as AI—in the evolving employment landscape.

• Experience managing grants and understanding performance metrics.

• Proven ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects, and think both strategically and compassionately.
