Mission-driven foundation serving the Tri-state area is seeking a highly organized, entrepreneurial, and driven Head of Operations & Marketing to help lead and scale its growing organization.  This is an ideal role for someone who is eager for ownership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and loves balancing strategy with execution. Qualified candidates enjoy wearing many hats, building systems, and being part of a meaningful endeavor. Duties include drafting donor and recipient communications, updating website and social media sites, managing clinic partnerships, coordinating board materials, or solving operational challenges.

Responsibilities

The Head of Operations & Marketing will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation while also leading marketing, communications and clinic partnerships. They will serve as a key right hand to the founders in helping the organization run smoothly and continue expanding its impact.

Operational Leadership

  • Manage day-to-day organizational operations and workflows
  • Drive strategic planning and continuous improvement of internal systems and processes to support organizational growth and high performance to include but not limited to:
    • Website
    • Newsletter
    • Social Media campaigns
  • Build scalable systems, improve efficiencies, and help strengthen organizational infrastructure
  • Oversee special projects, operational priorities, and new program launches
  • Ensure strong follow-through across multiple moving priorities and deadlines

Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee social media content, email marketing, and communications calendar
  • Draft newsletters, campaign messaging, and partner communications
  • Help grow awareness, engagement, and donor/community outreach
  • Coordinate marketing assets and collaborate with designers or freelancers as needed
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and storytelling across platforms

Clinic Partnerships & Program Operations

  • Manage and strengthen existing clinic partnerships
  • Identify and cultivate new clinic relationships and strategic partnerships
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for partner clinics and collaborators
  • Oversee applicant pipeline and grant process coordination
  • Help ensure a smooth and supportive experience for applicants and partners

Technology & Systems Management

  • Oversee organizational technology infrastructure and operational systems
  • Manage and maintain platforms including website, social media sites, Mailchimp, DonorPerfect, and other data management tools
  • Help improve CRM management, data tracking, reporting, and communication workflows
  • Coordinate with external IT or technology vendors as needed

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Support budgeting, financial tracking, audits, payroll coordination, and organizational administration
  • Help ensure compliance with nonprofit and IRS regulations
  • Assist leadership with operational reporting and organizational planning
  • Maintain strong internal organization and administrative processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in the nonprofit, startup, healthcare, or similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience in operations, program management, marketing, partnerships, or communications
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, website management, CRM systems, and email platforms
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Comfortable managing many projects simultaneously
  • Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Excited by “whatever needs to get done” environments
  • Able to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Passionate about mission-driven work
  • Experience supporting executives or boards a plus
  • Event planning or fundraising experience a plus

  • Salary of $110-$120+ (depending on experience, background and accomplishments)
