Hebrew Teacher

Pressman Academy in Los Angeles is seeking a passionate and experienced Hebrew educator to join our warm, collaborative community for the 2026-2027 school year!

The Role:

• Teach Core Subjects: Teach Novice/Intermediate Hebrew using the Proficiency Approach.
• Engaging and Differentiated Instruction: Plan engaging, differentiated lessons for elementary and middle school students.
• Collaborative Environment: Collaborate with a supportive faculty dedicated to Jewish values and academic excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Language Skills: Fluency in Hebrew (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (Middle School preferred).
• Educational Background: A degree/certification in Hebrew instruction or Education.
• Methodology: Experience with differentiated instruction and classroom management.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $65,000 - $87,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
• Full-time benefits including health, dental, and 403(b).
