Organization Overview

Broward Central Synagogue seeks an energetic and nurturing Infant Teacher who will provide a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for infants and toddlers. This role emphasizes the provision of a secure, loving, and developmentally appropriate atmosphere for infants while closely partnering with families.

Responsibilities

  • Providing responsive and loving care for infants
  • Supporting infant development through age-appropriate activities and routines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment in compliance with licensing standards
  • Communicating regularly with families
  • Collaborating with co-teachers and staff
  • Incorporating Jewish values and traditions in age-appropriate ways

Qualifications

  • Experience working with infants (0-15 months)
  • Early Childhood credentials preferred (CDA or coursework)
  • Knowledge of infant development and safety practices
  • Must meet Broward County Child Care Licensing requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
