Math and/or Science Department Chair - Yeshiva High School in NY/NJ Area

• High school teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Responsibilities include:
  • Mentoring and working with teachers
  • Assisting with personnel
  • Administering and evaluating placement tests
  • Acting as a liaison between teachers, administration, and parents
  • Developing curriculum and providing professional development for teachers
  • Demonstrating leadership experience in an educational setting
  • Maintaining high standards of student performance and engaging students with various pedagogical methods
  • Having a strong foundation in the content area and classroom management skills
  • Possessing a graduate degree in the content area
