We are looking to hire a part-time Clergy & Staff Office Assistant for 3 days a week. Preferably Monday, Thursday and Friday.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Congregation Beth Judea is looking for a friendly, creative, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our synagogue community. This is more than an office role — it's a chance to make a meaningful impact every single day.
A significant part of this position is creative, marketing, and communications work. You'll own our weekly newsletter, monthly bulletin, social media presence, and website — telling the story of our community in ways that inform, inspire, and connect. If you love crafting content, thinking visually, and finding the right words to bring people together, this role was made for you.
Beyond communications, you'll be the warm, knowledgeable first point of contact for members, guests, and prospective families. The ideal candidate brings both heart and hustle: a natural connector who is equally comfortable designing an email blast and welcoming a new family to the community.
If you're someone who lights up when creative work meets community, and you thrive in a role where no two days look exactly the same, we'd love to meet you.
