Football Coach for Summer Camp

Camp Kingswood, a premier co-ed Jewish overnight waterfront camp in Maine, is seeking an energetic and passionate American Football Specialist to lead and grow our football program this summer.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily football sessions for campers ages 7–17
• Teach core skills including passing, catching, footwork, positioning, and game strategy
• Organize drills, scrimmages, and skill-building activities for all experience levels
• Create fun, engaging lesson plans that emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during practices and games
• Maintain equipment and organize the football field and program area
• Build relationships with campers and encourage participation, growth, and confidence

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in American football (playing, coaching, or both)
• Experience working with children or in a coaching/mentorship role (preferred)
• Ability to teach fundamentals in a clear, encouraging, and engaging way
• High energy, leadership, and team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to safety, inclusion, and positive role modeling

Community Responsibilities

• Serve as a cabin counselor during non-program times
• Participate in all aspects of camp life including meals, evening programs, and camper care
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and spirited camp community
