Creative Teacher, 5th/6th Grade Cohorts

Do you love creating lively, hands-on learning experiences? We’re looking for a creative Religious School teacher for our 5th/6th grade Judaics program, focused this year on the culture, heritage, and history of Israel.

SHMA stands for Soul, Heart, Mind Academy, and that’s exactly what we aim to nurture: whole-person learning that’s meaningful, interactive, and fun. If you believe Jewish education should spark curiosity and joy, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll design engaging, interactive lessons on Israel past and present, using the many rich resources available across media and formats. If you enjoy building creative classroom experiences and inspiring students to learn by doing, we’d love to hear from you.

Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel is located in Rumson, NJ (Monmouth County).  Our school meets on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Competitive Salary + paid meetings and professional development.
