The High School Principal will serve as the high school educational leader responsible for the development, implementation, supervision & evaluation of a comprehensive program of educational & student services. Serves as an advocate for the students, staff, school, & school community.

Responsibilities and Duties/ Essential Job Functions:

• Creates a school culture that promotes the ongoing improvement of learning & teaching for students & staff.
• Leads the development, implementation & evaluation of plans for increasing student achievement.
• Assists staff with alignment of curriculum, instruction & assessment of learning goals.
• Monitors, assists, & evaluates effective instruction & assessment practices.
• Coordinates and participates in the selection of personnel for the purpose of recommending qualified candidates.
• Delegates responsibilities for various administrative functions to personnel for the purpose of managing the school effectively & utilizing the talents of other staff members.
• Implements policies, procedures, & processes for the purpose of providing direction and/or complying with mandated requirements.
• Represents the school in the community for the purpose of maintaining ongoing community support for educational goals and/or assisting with issues related to the school environment.
• Performs other duties as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

Qualifications

The High School Principal should have a master’s degree or higher. Minimum of five years of teaching experience. Knowledge & demonstrative skills in the use of technology. Excellent organizational & communication skills.

Salary based on experience.
