Early Childhood Teacher

Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher, Floater or Substitute! 

Duties

• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play-based activities
• Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering or potty training for toddlers and preschoolers
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and classroom events
• Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and collaboration with specialists in early intervention or special education
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among children

Requirements

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; prior preschool or daycare experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with families
• Certification in First Aid and CPR; additional training in childhood welfare or behavior management is a plus
• Ability to work well in a team environment while demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, and flexibility
• Patience, optimism, compassion, enthusiasm, and empathy.
• Mediation skills for resolving conflicts between children.
• Ability to stand as a positive role model for impressionable minds.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift children (30-40 lbs.) have good stamina and be able to keep up with the children.
