Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time, 20 hrs/week)
We are a vibrant synagogue of 270+ families where Jewish life is alive and present—our Early Childhood school (ECS) is full of joy and discovery, kids love coming to our J-LAB Religious School, B’nai Mitzvah journeys are meaningful, and learners of all ages are invited to engage and connect.
In this role, you will manage our Facebook and Instagram presences, sharing authentic stories that reflect who we are. You’ll create warm, welcoming content—from Shabbat invitations to member and teacher spotlights, early childhood and school highlights, and the rabbi’s weekly Torah thought. Your work will help current members feel proud of their community and inspire new families to imagine themselves here.
We are looking for someone who is naturally warm and curious, writes in a clear, human voice, and shows up consistently. The right candidate will feel comfortable using social platforms, keeping a simple content calendar on track, and engaging with real people and their stories. The right candidate will have experience with tools like Canva, basic photo/video editing and social scheduling platforms. A connection to Jewish community life is a plus.
We provide the tools and support you need to succeed, including Meta Business Suite, Canva Pro, a shared photo library, regular collaboration with the executive director and the rabbi.
