Religious School Teachers Needed - Inspire the Next Generation of Jewish Learners

Temple Emanuel Religious School (TERS) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Hebrew and Jewish Studies teachers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. Our first day of Religious School is Sunday, September 27 with our Back-to-School festival!

At TERS, we bring Jewish learning to life through our core values of Limmud (Learning), Kehillah (Community), Ruach (Spirit), and Hachalah (Inclusion). Our teachers work alongside engaged clergy, an Israeli shaliach (emissary), and teen madrichol to create meaningful, joyful experiences for students.

Sunday positions available (Hebrew & Jewish Studies): 9:00 AM–12:15 PM

We offer:

Competitive pay
Paid professional development and paid time off
Curriculum, resources, and ongoing support
A warm, collaborative teaching community

Located in Kensington, MD, Temple Emanuel is a vibrant Reform congregation that welcomes and celebrates people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
