Harmony of the Soul is an immersive 3-day Mem Global funded peer-led retreat for neurodivergent brains (low-support needs), artists, & unique creative minds, taking place in Southern California on a *TBD date spring/summer 2026. We are seeking a visionary & engaging Jewish Educator to:
· Lead 2-3 immersive 45–60-minute workshops throughout the weekend.
· Develop and facilitate a Tikkun Olam project to be led during programing.
· Offer support & insight to participants for the duration of the retreat.
The mission of Harmony of the Soul is to foster aspiring Jewish creatives in their 20’s & 30’s through themes promoting reflection & inspiration through Jewish values, exploration of neurodiversity within Judaism, music & other creative arts. Meals, lodging, travel & compensation ($850.00-$1,200.00 range) provided.
Criteria:
· Seeking a qualified and passionate individual that preferably identifies under the Neurodivergent umbrella: https://www.healingumbrellapsychotherapy.com/queer-mental-health-blog/what-is-the-neurodiversity-umbrella or is well versed in neurodivergent centered content.
· Preferably local to Southern California area with reliable transportation, but willing to reimburse for non-local travel for the right fit.
· Willingness and availability to collaborate with the facilitator on crafting neurodivergent centered and friendly Jewish learning content. With a goal to provide creative and engaging ideas with hands-on aspects for participants to feel involved in programming and not lectured.
· Please note this is a pluralistic, non-Shabbat observant program. We will not be travelling on Shabbat but may use musical instruments, electronics, or art supplies for programming. While we are not strictly Kosher, we can provide Kosher style options if requested.
* Harmony of the Soul will take place on a Thursday-Sunday in either May, June or July 2026. Once educator is selected, we will select the date that works best with everyone’s schedule. Please have some flexible weekends during this range for consideration.
