Do you enjoy working with young children and want to inspire the next generation through joyful learning and Jewish values? Are you looking for a vibrant community that celebrates collaboration, connection, and diversity? Join the team at the Temple Beth Tikvah (TBT) and help shape the future, one curious mind at a time!

Your Responsibilities as a Religious/Hebrew School Teacher

As a Religious School teacher at TBT, you’ll take on an impactful role that allows you to:

  • Create Inspiring Curriculum: Prepare creative, interactive lessons as part of a well-structured curriculum, with a focus on holidays, prayers, ethics/Mitzvot, Jewish identity, Torah stories, Jewish life, and Hebrew.

  • Collaborate with Your Team: Partner with fellow educators to share ideas, plan innovative and meaningful Jewish learning experiences, and continuously enhance our learning environment. This will include attending weekly Zoom planning meetings, and yearly in-services, training sessions, and workshops to implement best practices into the classroom.
  • Celebrate Growth: Track each child’s progress, communicating classroom activities and learning to parents through updates via Youth Programs Coordinator.
  • Support the Community: Participate, when necessary, in TBT’s vibrant events and programs to help strengthen connections between the Religious School and larger campus community. This may include participating in monthly family Shabbat service, Religious School-led Saturday morning services, family education programs, and holiday celebrations.
