An Admissions and Administrative Assistant supports an educational institution's enrollment process by handling inquiries, managing applications, scheduling, organizing events, maintaining databases (CRMs and Transparent Classroom App), and providing excellent customer service to prospective students and families, requiring strong organization, communication, and attention to detail for tasks from data entry to event coordination.
Candidate needs some experience in school or working with children. Our school practices Orthodox Jewish Zionist program and candidate needs to adhere to school policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions Support. Processing applications, responding to prospective student questions, scheduling tours/interviews, managing communications (emails, calls).
- Administrative Tasks: Managing calendars, coordinating meetings, organizing files, data entry, handling correspondence, and ensuring office procedures run smoothly.
- Event Coordination: Assisting with planning and executing recruitment events (virtual or in-person).
- Database Management: Updating and maintaining information in admissions databases and CRMs (Customer Relationship Management systems).
- Customer Service: Serving as the first point of contact, providing a positive experience for applicants and families.
- Managing admission and registration software of the school. Updating lists and working together with the Business office to coordinate the list of paying families.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication (written & verbal), customer service orientation, resourcefulness, and discretion.
Experience: Familiarity with enrollment processes and admissions databases is helpful. Previous experience working in a school is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time or Part Time
The position is Monday through Friday.
Salary: Range $52,000 - $82,000 per year (12 months) based on experience

Administrative Assistant:
Working with the Head of School, office admin team and teacher:
- Licensing: to record documents, keep and update licensing documentation, meet with inspectors and any other documentation need for licensing.
- Development and advancement: help with office work on sending letters, getting gifts, updating donors data base, scheduling flights and so forth to help with the fundraising efforts of the school as directed by the Head of School.
- Help with organizing board documents and other materials for board meeting.
This position in a small school will require different hats from time to time, such as helping in the classroom during lunch break or outdoor play. Helping organizing holiday celebrations or staff meeting
