We are searching for a full-time, highly organized, systems whiz to ensure that our members and school families are stewarded from one leg of their temple journey to the next with comfort and ease and to ensure that our Religious School operates in a professional and efficient manner. You will work closely with our Director of Religious School & Family Engagement to build and administer systems to optimize student learning and family engagement. You will also help us create a welcoming and engaging environment as you work with our Director of Community Engagement and Sr. Finance Director to to activate and onboard temple members, enroll students in our three schools, administer financial assistance, and track key member demographic data.

Our community is composed of 900 households and is home to three vibrant schools – Religious School/Teen Program, Bay-Nimoy Early Childhood Center, and Briskin Elementary School.

Manage Religious School & Family Engagement Operations (45%)

• Manage student onboarding, including inquiries, scheduling tours, processing applications, and communicating with parents
• Help generate and maintain class lists; manage attendance records
• Manage teacher supply requests, organization, and distribution
• Coordinate teacher and staff onboarding and payroll timesheets
• Oversee all financial and personnel support
• Assist the Director and Assistant Director with family communication
• Be present on site during Religious School hours as an administrator
• Support logistics prior to and day of for High Holy Day Youth programming
• Support the Assistant Director with logistics for youth group event and retreats

 Support Our Membership Pipeline (20%)

• Track incoming new membership applications and create complete profiles for all new members in our CRM (Congregant Relationship Management system); activate/renew members.
• Maintain accurate records of membership and produce membership reports
• Liaise with our Finance department to indicate billing/pledge amount for new members
• Track new members for outreach from clergy and Membership Committee
• Add new members to communications distribution list
• Oversee TIOH key fob/decal + new member bag distribution

Manage School Enrollment (20%)

• Administer the full enrollment cycle for our three schools within Blackbaud’s Enrollment and Tuition Management platforms, including configuring enrollment forms, contracts, financial assistance, and payment plans
• Maintain accurate student, family, and household records
• Manage tuition changes, withdrawals, and adjustments to payment plans

Oversee Collections on Membership Dues & School Tuition (10%)

• In conjunction with our Finance department, monitor aging balances for tuition and membership dues
• Follow up with families who fall behind on payment plans. Coordinate with the Executive Director and Sr. Director of Finance on accounts that require escalation.
• Serve as the point of contact for school families who have questions about their payment plans.

Assist with Other Areas of Engagement & Operations as Needed (5%)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of four years of experience in the areas of operations, IT support, school enrollment, or other related areas.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM services (Blackbaud preferred)
• Ability to a five day work week that will include Sundays and Wednesday early evenings during the school year
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a "figure-it-out" attitude
• Experience in education, temple, or membership driven organization strongly preferred

Work Requirements:

• Work on site from our campus at 7300 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles with some remote flexibility available
• Full time exempt status; primary work week will be Sunday and four weekdays 

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary $72,000 – 80,000 commensurate with experience
