Director of Leadership 

Organization: Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC)
Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief Leadership Officer
Travel: Up to 30%, including domestic convenings, meetings, and international travel

Why This Role

Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC) develops and empowers a network of extraordinary student leaders committed to strengthening the U.S.–Israel relationship on campus and beyond. The Director of Leadership will play a central role in shaping and sustaining ICC’s premier leadership programs, including the Geller International Fellowship, Senior Fellows Network, and additional initiatives.

This role requires a connector, communicator, and strategist, someone who excels at building relationships, managing complex programs from vision to execution, and helping talented students and young professionals develop into lifelong advocates and community leaders.

Top Outcomes in the First 90 Days

  • Program Mastery: Deep understanding of ICC’s leadership programs, goals, alumni networks, and key partners.

  • Relationship Activation: Establish strong rapport with current Fellows, alumni, and donors; implement a communication rhythm to strengthen engagement.

  • Operational Rhythm: Establish a clear and efficient cadence for planning, convening, and post-program follow-up, leveraging Salesforce and internal tracking tools to ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely communication.

  • Mission Alignment: Partner seamlessly with the Chief Leadership Officer to execute ICC’s leadership strategy and long-term vision.

Core Responsibilities

Leadership Program Management

  • Oversee the design, coordination, and implementation of ICC’s leadership programs, fellowships, and alumni networks.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of key convenings  from concept and planning to logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up.

  • Develop and refine systems to evaluate program impact and participant growth.

  • Coordinate application, recruitment, and interview processes for fellowship cohorts.

  • Assist in planning for overseas leadership experiences as well as managing logistics: travel coordination, program development, briefings, and participant engagement.

Fellow & Alumni Engagement

  • Serve as a mentor and coach for Fellows, offering professional development guidance and ongoing support.

  • Foster an alumni community that stays connected to ICC and to one another through meaningful engagement opportunities.

  • Build and maintain lifelong relationships across cohorts to strengthen the ICC network.

Stakeholder Relations

  • Support donor communications and stewardship, including program updates, data summaries, and event participation.

  • Partner with ICC leadership to prepare materials, briefings, and reports for donors and partners.

  • Represent ICC with professionalism and warmth at key meetings and leadership convenings.

 

Strategic Planning & Collaboration

  • Work alongside the Chief Leadership Officer to shape long-term strategy for leadership initiatives and alumni engagement.

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with Field, Communications, and Operations teams to align programming with ICC’s broader mission.

  • Engage external consultants and facilitators as needed to enhance program delivery and evaluation.

Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum of professional experience in leadership development, program management, or community engagement.

  • Demonstrated success in building and sustaining networks, cohorts, or alumni communities.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven experience executing events, trips, or convenings from concept to completion.

  • Strategic thinker with an ability to connect day-to-day execution to long-term vision.

  • Comfortable engaging with students, alumni, donors, board members, and senior professionals.

  • Bonus: Experience in Jewish communal leadership, Israel education, or campus engagement.

 

Salary115,000.00 - 135,000.00 Annual
