Description

At Aleph Bet Children’s Center, the teachers, center leadership, and families have worked to create a community of care and learning. Teachers are supported and encouraged as they create their own curriculum, with input and advice from the center director as needed. We foster open communication between school and home, which helps children feel more comfortable and respected while they learn and grow. Our staff don’t walk through a revolving door, but find the support they receive from the Jewish Federation allows them to evolve as educators. While some may occasionally move on as they experience major changes in life, most of our teachers stay with Aleph Bet for 5 or more years. We strive for work/life balance and do our best to make sure everyone gets to use all of their earned time off. Whether teacher, director, substitute—every employee is encouraged to make the job their own, and one they look forward to coming to each day.

Candidates must have early childhood experience and bachelor's degree.  Experience as a preschool director, assistant director and/or management experience preferred. Moving expenses can be included as part of hiring package.
