Our mission is rooted in community responsibility and preserving the sacred traditions that guide Jewish end-of-life practices. Every interaction reflects our dedication to serving families with integrity, sensitivity, and purpose.

Position Overview

We are seeking a thoughtful and motivated Advance Planning Advisor to guide individuals and families through the process of preplanning funeral and cemetery arrangements. This role is both consultative and relational, focused on education, trust-building, and helping families make informed decisions that align with Jewish traditions and personal values. This is not a transactional sales role. It is an opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful way while building long-term relationships grounded in care and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate families on the value and importance of advance planning within the context of Jewish traditions and customs
  • Guide individuals through cemetery and funeral options with clarity, compassion, and professionalism
  • Build trust through thoughtful conversations, active listening, and respect for family dynamics
  • Conduct appointments in person, over the phone, and, when appropriate, in clients’ homes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and dignified experience for every family
  • Participate in outreach efforts within the Jewish community, including synagogues, organizations, and educational events
  • Maintain accurate records and follow-up to support families over time

Qualifications

  • A passion for serving others and building meaningful relationships
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide sensitive conversations with empathy and confidence
  • Appreciation for, and familiarity with, Jewish customs, traditions, and values surrounding end-of-life care
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in sales, counseling, ministry, or community engagement

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to do meaningful, purpose-driven work within the Jewish community
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development
  • Work environment rooted in shared values and mission
  • Competitive compensation structure with strong earning potential
  • The ability to make a lasting impact by helping families plan with dignity and peace of mind

Why This Role Matters

Advance planning is an act of care. It relieves burden, preserves tradition, and allows families to make thoughtful decisions without urgency or uncertainty. In this role, you will help ensure that every family we serve experiences clarity, respect, and continuity with Jewish values at one of life’s most important moments.
