 A confidential government office in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join its team. This full-time position offers a unique and exciting opportunity to support a new high-impact, global public affairs initiative.

If you are creative, have a sense of humor, and a strong interest in communications, international relations, media, content creation, and strategic planning - and a curiosity about finance, capital markets, and investor relations - you could be a perfect fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the day-to-day execution of a long-term global public affairs initiative.
Provide both strategic input and administrative support to advance program goals.
Assist in relations with a global public relations firm and coordinate on deliverables.
Support creation of first-rate content (ex. newsletters, speeches) for multiple audiences.
Contribute to other related tasks and deadline-driven initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (communications, economics, English, etc.)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills areparamount.
Exposure to international markets or cross-cultural environments is a plus.
Demonstrated experience or interest in public affairs, external communications, or investor relations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
Strong emotional intelligence, positive mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and sometimes operate under ambiguity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of social media platforms is a big advantage.
Ability to learn quickly, process new information, and synthesize insights.
