Position overview:
Jewish National Fund- USA seeks to recruit a part-time Accounting Assistant. This position reports to our Director, Accounts Receivable, and is based out of our Rockville Centre, NY office.
This role will work Monday-Thursday, 9-5pm. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming full-time.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and send Annual Tax Statements – yearly for major donors and ongoing per requests
· Handle all adjustments to Salesforce
· Assist Accountants with various reconciliations
· Prepare and send Quarterly Billing – each quarter and ongoing reprint requests
· Prepare donor detail giving reports upon request
· Any further duties assigned from your supervisor, which may not be listed above
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in finance and bookkeeping, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills
- Keen organizational and analytical skills
- Effective decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communications skills including written, verbal and listening
- Excellent time management skills
- Strategic thinker
- Takes and provides supervision with respect and courtesy
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task projects
- Must be comfortable with various software products
· Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word and Adobe
- Knowledge of Salesforce or another database program a plus

$40,000-$45,000 +benefits (pro-rated based on 4 day work week)
