JewishJobs.com Job Posting Policies
Customarily JewishJobs.com employers are legally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or actively involved in serving the nonprofit Jewish communal marketplace, such as executive placement within the nonprofit Jewish community, poviding software for synaggoues, and things of that nature. Recruitment agencies, board members, and others may post jobs on behalf of organizations.
No job advertisement or job seeker resume shall contain any mention of pornography, drugs, or arms and shall not contain any explicit material that does not comply within the laws of the United States.
Multiple job seeker resumes that have been submitted by the same user and are identical in content will be removed and replaced with the most recently submitted resume, leaving only one resume submitted.
JewishJobs.com reserves the rights to refuse, edit, delete, or remove any job, resume, job seeker account, or employer account or any other user account for any purpose, including for purposes of space, content, or abuse of this service.
Resumes or job postings that solicit or advertise business products or services not in accordance with the JewishJobs.com site purpose will be removed without notification.
Should an employer flag the account of a job seeker for abuse of service, JewishJobs.com will investigate and will take appropriate action, including but not limited to emailing the job seeker a warning, editing of account, banning the user, and possible legal action.
JewishJobs.com reserves the right to delete any account and ban any user without warning or notice.
JewishJobs.com does not allow employers to post jobs if the employer has an email auto-responder configured to the email address that is receiving emails from JewishJobs.com. Employers who post jobs and have the resume recipient email address configured with an auto-responder will receive a notification email of our policy. Failure to remove the auto-responder or change the email address within a reasonable period of time will result in the removal of your job posting.
JewishJobs.com does not allow employers to post jobs if the job seeker is required to register with a third party service in order to apply to the job. Requiring job seekers to register with a third party is preceived by users as an endorsement of a service which is not endorsed by JewishJobs.com. Employers that post advertisements which fail this requirement will be notified by JewishJobs.com and the job(s) in question will be edited or deleted.
JewishJobs.com encourages employers to abide by the nonprofit industry standard when fundraising. For nonprofits that use our site, commission-based, finder's fees or bonus-based payments to workers is explicitly prohibited. This requirement is consistent with the best practices of the industry. Employers that post advertisements which fail this requirement may be notified by JewishJobs.com and/or the job(s) in question may be edited or deleted.
If abuse of JewishJobs.com is determined by the JewishJobs.com administrator, server log, or resume or job posting, JewishJobs.com reserves the right to block individual users from using this site without prior notification.
