Synagogue Administrator / Bookkeeper
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary source of contact for all incoming calls, as well as all incoming visitors
  • Provide administrative support to Rabbi and lay leaders
  • Perform all bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and receipts, dues billing, processing vendor invoices and reimbursements, and bank deposits
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Competence with Word, Zoom, Excel
  • Willingness to learn database and other software programs as needed
