BETC Junior Youth Group Advisor

Beth El Temple Center (BETC) in Belmont, MA, is seeking a Youth Advisor to our Junior Youth Group (BEFTY) of 6th & 7th  graders. The candidate should be outgoing and friendly with great communication skills, a  passion for Judaism and a love of working with preteens and teens. This is a ten month (Sept - June) salaried position approximately 12 - 14  hours a month, typically early evenings (usually Wednesday) and weekends.  

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): planning program details, attending all events, ensuring Judaic content of activities, making all logistical arrangements (including collecting RSVPs and permission forms, room requests, obtaining supplies, and staffing events), developing and working within a budget for each event, producing and circulating publicity materials, and recruitment.
