Communications & UX Specialist

Role Overview

The Communications & UX Specialist is responsible for curating the Bronfman Center's official voice and visual look. They manage all organizational branding, communications, and marketing efforts. They report directly to the Manager of Student Impact and work closely with the Student Impact team to oversee all external communications for students. Additionally, the Communications & UX Specialist works with the Development team to coordinate communications for alumni, parents, and donors, and manages the b|hive story collective - an internship experience for students passionate about storytelling and content creation.

  • Creating and editing a marketing and communications strategy
  • Managing the b|hive story collective
  • Creating all graphic assets, logos, fliers, brochures, and postcards for Bronfman Center programs and initiatives
  • Managing all social media accounts
  • Performing general Bronfman Center staff responsibilties 

What You’ll Bring to the Job

  • 1 - 2 years of related experience in marketing, communications, web writing, online news and journalism, or website content development
  • Knowledge of relevant social media platforms 
  • Basic experience working with both audio and video files and basic understanding of multimedia editing software
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

What You’ll Receive

  • Competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace. The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000
