Title: DIRECTOR, WOMEN'S PHILANTHROPY & AFFINITIES
Reports to: Chief Development Officer
Status: Full Time, Exempt
The United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, seeks a creative, articulate, and well-organized individual to work within the Women's Division and other targeted (small affinity) areas of the general Campaign. The primary role is to engage new donors, cultivate relationships, and solicit donations to advance the Federation's mission.
The Director, of Women's Philanthropy & Affinities, will organize and facilitate the activities of women's cabinet, which can include lay leadership development and succession planning; women's ratings and assignments; outreach to new donors; stewardship of existing donors; and serving in the key senior professional role on the development team.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree with (3) three or more years of experience in fundraising or an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and skills. Strong knowledge of basic office computing, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams), Zoom, and basic database management skills required. (Proficiency in Power BI and Abila Millennium products, a PLUS).
