Experienced full time Executive Assistant required for large Reform Congregation.
We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented administrative professional. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the B’nei Mitzvah program as well as provide administrative support to senior members of our clergy with an emphasis on assisting this clergy to meet the needs of all congregants.
The ideal prospective candidate would possess strong communication, organizational, administrative, analytical, and writing skills, showing strong initiative and meticulous attention to detail. The candidate should also be able to multi-task effectively, handling several responsibilities concurrently, with both an emphasis on planning, organizing, and prioritizing. An ability to project manage both small and large projects independently and in consultation with clergy or other senior staff, in an effective and efficient manner is required. A knowledge of Jewish customs and traditions is necessary.
Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), and an aptitude to learn new software and database programs is a must and would provide a distinct advantage. Ideal qualities include being proactive, energetic, flexible, resourceful, and a team player.
General Responsibilities and Duties
- Accurate management of the clergy schedule to assist and ensure effective time management
- Effective project management, ensuring that all requirements and details are executed in an effective and efficient manner
- Management of the B’nei Mitzvah program and all administrative duties and correspondence relating to B’nei Mitzvah
- Other administrative duties as required to support the administrative team
