High Holyday Cantor- Temple Emanu-El, Marblehead MA

Temple Emanu-El, a 550-family inclusive Reform synagogue in Marblehead, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced, High Holyday Cantor with a love of Reform Jewish music and understanding of Reform liturgy.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate, prepare, and lead all musical aspects of prayers for High Holydays in collaboration with Rabbi Mangold and our Cantorial Soloist
2. Rosh Hashanah: Evening Service, Morning Service, Family Service
3. Yom Kippur: Kol Nidrei, Morning Service, Family Service, Afternoon Service Yizkor, and Neilah
4. Preparing with the Rabbi and Cantorial Soloist (voice and guitar) followed by rehearsal(s)
