Position Overview: The Data Coordinator will be an Operations Team staff member reporting to the Business Manager. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and organization of data within our non-profit organization. This position is essential for supporting the mission of The Mussar Institute by entering and maintaining data related to fundraising, course and program enrollment, and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will implement data maintenance best practices and collaborate closely with staff to optimize data entry processes, information access, and consistent reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into our database.
  • Implement and maintain data entry procedures and protocols that ensure data integrity.
  • Regularly review data for accuracy and completeness, performing data cleaning and database maintenance as needed.
  • Generate reports that assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with staff to support their data needs and ensure consistent reporting.
  • Uphold the organization’s values and goals, promoting TMI’s vision and mission through all aspects of data maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • An associate’s degree in non-profit or business administration.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in data entry or maintenance, preferably within a non-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in business software such as MS Office, Zoom, SurveyMonkey, QuickBooks Online, and at least one customer relations management platform (such as ShulCloud, NeonCRM, Salesforce).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting.
  • Takes initiative and can work independently on project-based tasks.

Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply and eligible to be employed in the United States. Candidates must have their own computer with reliable, high speed Internet access and computer microphone and video camera for web based meetings.

  • $21-25 per hour x 15 hours per week = $15,120 - $18,000 annually; paid monthly
