About JCPA:

Today, JCPA is mobilizing the robust community relations network and its partners in pursuit of a more just and democratic society for all, rooted in an abiding belief that Jewish security here and abroad is tied to the health of our democracy and strong relationships between communities. Only by building bridges across lines of difference and fostering solidarity between communities can we advance an inclusive future in which Jews – and all people – are safe and free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and consultants to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit new and existing individual donors and foundations.

- Maintain regular communication with supporters through newsletters, updates, and personal outreach.
- Develop and implement donor stewardship and recognition strategies.
- Collaborate with individual board members and program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
- Track grant-related metrics and produce reports for donors and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three to five years’ experience in nonprofit development or fundraising, preferably in advocacy, political, or social justice organizations.
- Proven success in donor cultivation, solicitation, and granting.
- Strong relationship-building and communications and writing skills.
- Experience managing donor databases and CRM systems (some knowledge of EveryAction preferred).
- Ability to think strategically and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
- Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative approach.
- Passion for social justice, Jewish communal advocacy, and civic engagement; knowledge of Jewish communities, civil rights, and democracy issues a plus.
