Torah Reader

Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus is a Conservative Synagogue affiliated with USCJ. We serve over 900 families and have an Early Childhood Academy with over 300 little ones. As our services expand, we are looking for a Torah reader who will chant Torah every Saturday morning and potentially be available for High Holidays. We follow the triennial cycle and read the regular Maftir.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency with Torah Trope/reading.
2. The desire to be a part of a growing Jewish community.
3. The ability to work with a team of clergy and educators who are looking to evolve and nurture a sacred space.

Salary: $250-$300/Shabbat.

BTBRC is also looking for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor, and the salary for that position is $100/hour ($50/per 30-minute lesson).
