Community Coordinator

Be the heart of our community.

We're seeking a warm, organized professional to serve as the welcoming face of our synagogue. You'll be the first point of contact for members, visitors, and prospective families while managing the operations that keep our vibrant community running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

  • Welcome visitors and answer phones with genuine warmth
  • Guide prospective members through their journey to joining our community
  • Manage membership database (ShulCloud) and dues collection
  • Provide tours and share our temple's story and values
  • Support senior staff with administrative tasks and special projects
  • Track membership metrics and develop outreach strategies
  • Process donations and handle accounts receivable

What You Bring:

  • Exceptional people skills and love for connecting with others
  • High emotional intelligence and customer service excellence
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database management. Familiarity with ShulCoud prefered.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
