A successful candidate for this position will appreciate the art and craft of educating, embrace challenges, cultivate a rich life outside of school, find deep satisfaction in working with students, possess the emotional acuity and personality to inspire and engage young people, and maintain an excellent sense of humor. Educating can be difficult work, but it's wildly fun and meaningful. This candidate should feel extremely comfortable using technology to bolster learning experiences. We seek and educator who is able to plan, organize, and implement differentiated instructional programs and effectively collaborate with academic departments, grade-level teams, and individual colleagues. TVT is a highly collaborative environment; departments and grade- level teams work together to plan and implement their lessons. Strong communication skills and the desire to develop partnerships with students and parents are central to the culture here at TVT. This position should be desirable for a candidates who seeks:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (required)
  • Meet professional teacher education requirements of the school and state (preferred)
  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Knowledge of relevant technology

 

Compensation Range

The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $58,200 - $102,900. The starting salary is based upon, but not limited to, several factors that include type and years of experience, education level, and expertise.
