Katz Yeshiva High School of South Florida (KYHS) is a co-ed, Modern-Orthodox high school with close to 500 students, housed in a beautiful new facility at the heart of the rapidly growing Jewish community of Boca Raton, FL. KYHS is well-known for its diverse range of students, its rigorous academic program, and its warm and embracing environment. We are currently recruiting for the following position for the 2023-2024 school year:


Full-Time Limudei Kodesh Teacher

Seeking dynamic, energetic, and passionate individuals to teach Limudei Kodesh classes to students in grades 9-12 in a variety of subjects including Chumash, Halacha, Navi, and Gemara. Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of content, desire to engage and connect with students to develop meaningful relationships, model exemplary Torah observance and values, be committed to their own learning and growth, and be comfortable in a professional academic environment. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Semicha). Compensation and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Teach five classes that each meet four times per week, for a total of 20 weekly periods
  • Create and implement strategic weekly lesson plans and a wide range of assessments consistent with course content and objectives.
  • Provide thoughtful and timely feedback on student work.
  • Update online gradebook (RenWeb) and Google Classroom on a regular basis.
  • Be available to meet with students during breakfast or lunch.
  • Attend scheduled department, faculty, and professional development meetings.
  • Attend programs outside of school hours such as Shabbatonim and Melave Malkas, as well as programs during school such as Chagigot and Guest Speakers.
  • Supervise davening during Shacharit and Mincha.
