Scheck Hillel Community School has an opening for an experienced Student Life Director in our Middle School (Grades 6-8) for the 2023/2024 school year.

As one of the largest traditional Jewish Day Schools in the Southeastern US, Scheck Hillel is a nationally recognized college preparatory and Jewish community day school. Serving the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County Jewish communities for 50 years, our well-rounded, rigorous, dual curriculum program serves over 1200 students in PKT through 12th grade. This full time, on campus position, will connect and engage our students in a variety of student activities in support of the school's mission. Reporting to the Middle School Director, the Middle School Student Life Director is a visible presence throughout the middle school building while building relationships with students, faculty and families. The Student Life Coordinator plays a key role in growing school pride and maintaining a positive school culture.  

Qualified candidates must have exceptional written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational, computer, and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with students and provide strong peer leadership. Previous experience developing, organizing, and implementing student or youth programs in an orthodox environment required. This position also requires candidates to be Orthodox. Bachelors degree, ability to work occasional nights and attend weekend shabbatons, and eligibility to work in the United States required. Hebrew or Spanish language fluency a plus.
