Interested in teaching but want your weekends free?!?!

Temple Israel in New Rochelle is looking teachers on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons because our school is growing! We are looking for staff to begin immediately and be part of our team for the remainder of the year (May) and hopefully beyond! We are a dynamic program that looks to engage children through camp-style and interactive programming. You would have the opportunity to help shape the curriculum and bring your personality and vision into the experience. Offering positions starting at $2,100/1 day and $3,920/2 days.

We are looking for great people who love children and feel a deep connection to Judaism. We have teaching opportunities for Tuesday from 3:30-6:00pm (5th & 6th grade) and Thursday from 3:30-6:00pm (3rd-6th grade). Basic Hebrew reading skills are needed for 1^st-6^th grade.

Temple Israel’s programming year runs through May 14th. You will be supported with teenage teacher assistants (Madreecheem). Teaching staff will be able to develop their skills as an educator through regular professional development opportunities with our Director of Education as well as outside speakers and resources.
