Are you passionate about community building and creative communication? Congregation Agudas Israel is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Synagogue Outreach and Marketing Coordinator to increase awareness of our vibrant programs and services throughout Newburgh and the surrounding areas.

We are launching exciting new classes and programs, and we want to ensure that everyone in the Jewish community knows about them. From curating a dynamic social media presence to distributing flyers at local businesses, your role will be pivotal in spreading the word and engaging with the community. You'll also explore new opportunities for outreach, connecting with the Jewish community outside the synagogue walls.

You will work directly with our congregation’s spiritual leader to ensure our outreach and marketing efforts align with our vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage our social media strategy, creating engaging content across multiple platforms.
• Design marketing materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software.
• Research and identify creative avenues for publicizing our programs (e.g., local newspapers, coffee shops, community boards, online groups).
• Build partnerships and identify opportunities for outreach to engage with the Jewish community outside of the synagogue.
• Collaborate with synagogue leadership to align marketing efforts with our mission and vision.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong skills in social media management and a knack for creating visually appealing content.
• Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe CC Suite.
• Highly motivated, organized, and resourceful with strong research abilities.
• Passionate about engaging with the Jewish community and creating meaningful connections.

Position Details:

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
