Youth Advisor

Temple Bat Yahm is looking for an engaging Youth Advisor to take our teen programming to the next level! This role is part-time, about 5 hours a week.

What you will do:

First and foremost, you will establish deep and lasting relationships with the teens in our community. You will:

• Oversee and staff teen board meetings and youth events for high schoolers
• Chaperone weekend trips and retreats
• Coffees/boba meetings/walks with teens to build relationships and reach marginalized teens
• Leverage social media to grow engagement with the program

What we are looking for:

• Current college student or recent college graduate with an interest in Jewish programming and teen development. A deep interest in this space is much more important than actual experience.
• Some experience working with 8th-12th graders
• Ability to work part-time starting in August 2024
• Jewish Camp and/or Jewish youth group experience is a bonus, but not required

Benefits & Compensation:

This position approx. 5 hours/week. Salary will be based on experience, likely in the $22 - $25/hour range. Other benefits include:
