The Development and Database Administrator ensures that the Development Department, senior staff and the Board Development Committee has the support and resources it needs so that projects are efficiently completed according to schedule and facilitate effective communications. 

This is a part time hybrid position (20-25 hours per week)  for a NYC area resident.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of four years experience  in non-profit fundraising with a focus on development administration and database maintenance
  • Exemplary writing and editing details
  • The ability to collaborate as necessary with staff members across departments
  • An interest in NYTF’s mission

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Director of Development to ensure smooth management and administration of development department
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of all gifts from all donors using Donor Perfect
  • Creating and maintaining donor forms
  • Maintains donor database- removing duplicates, cleaning data, communicating with Donor Perfect support, etc
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records for all donors in the database as well as electronic files for donor gifts
  • Generates and creates reports from the database; such as general accounting reports, mailing lists, and other donor-related reports
  • Draft  donor acknowledgment letters and ensuring financial database information is accurate
  • Communicates with external print/mail house to ensure that development mailings are delivered on-time and efficiently
  • Schedules development related meetings
  • Select donor/patron communication
  • Select Special event administration including managing RSVPs and event lists
  • Work with executive team to reconcile Donor Perfect and Quick Books
  • Take minutes of development related meetings
  • Additional projects as assigned by the Director of Development


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary $40.00/hr
